The liability of Shea Trucking is limited to Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per shipment unless a greater valuation is declared to Shea Trucking and charges for such greater value paid at the rate of Fifty Cents ($.50) per each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of declared value. Such values must be declared in writing and accepted by Shea Trucking in writing.

Addendum to the Import Rates
Due to the abusive wait times and declining service levels at JFK Airlines, there is a %50.00 surcharge on each import shipment. Please note container stations will not be subject to this surcharge.
On a normal day, a trucker can recover an import shipment between 2 and 7 hours. Shea Trucking can no longer afford to keep a driver there without receiving some compensation.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, but it is necessary to remain competitive. The fee will be discontinued once the Airlines and Freight Handlers Get their act together.
